Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in Ireland on November 11, 1966. The model is as well an Irish actress. Her debut came in a Bond film called A View to a Kill in the year 1985. Doody had an unspoken role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias when she appeared in the film adaptation of his fantasy, 1987's version of The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading part in Sapsorrow and was portrayed by John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She worked with Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer and an archaeologist for forensics in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played the role in the film with Sean Connery, who played the character's father. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Doody later moved to Hollywood. The choice was made to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal She went on to play opposite Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II in the role of Flannery the agent's girlfriend. After a long absence from the screen Doody came back to acting, by playing a minor role in the 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine as her character in the award ceremony scene. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody filming a character in Danny Dyer's 2010 film The Rapture. In the following year, she was a guest on RTE's Medical thriller The Clinic. She was also set to appear in a remake in 2011 of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. The actress began her two seasons of the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014).
