Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. She has two sisters, Kaitlyn Nash, and Carolyn Nash. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather immigrated into the United States from Portugal.



 From the age of a child, Kelly Nash was a fan of the Miami Marlins. Although Nash was a fan of sports from a young age she always believed she would become a news anchor. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. Clemson awarded her a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange to cover the Sports Information Department's Baseball and Soccer teams she was given a full athletic scholarship by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is a MLB Network studio host and appears in numerous shows, including Quick Pitch (nightly highlights) and Quick Pitch (quick pitch). She is also an NHL Network Studio host, Participating on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She Joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's live on-air operations began to be based at MLB Network's headquarters.
